Bulk Mail Information

  • Must have 200 or more pieces to be considered bulk mail.
  • Bulk mail cannot contain for-profit or personalized mail, and contents of each piece must be identical (even different paper color can change the weight!).
  • The pieces cannot be too rigid; they must be flexible enough to go around curves in the machinery.
  • Each piece can be no more than ¼ inch thick.
  • Pieces must be in zip code order, ie., 80521’s grouped together; 80525’s grouped together, etc.
  • Note there are two options (see diagrams below). Option 1 for folded pieces, Option 2 for flat or magazine style. (For Option 1-- the fold must be neat and with a crease).

Plan ahead!
Better early than late. 7-12 days is the Post Office’s guideline; bulk mail goes through Denver, so if you are mailing late, please call Mary Taylor to let her know! Mary usually can process your bulk mailing the same day or the next, but please know that it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
