Explore, Visit, Register

Kindergarten is an important step for you as a parent and for your child. No one knows the learning style of your child better, and for that reason, we invite you to explore the options available in Poudre School District.

Determine Eligibility
Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 15 to register for kindergarten. Younger students may be accepted if they transfer to PSD from another public school's kindergarten program. (Refer to Superintendent's Policy JEB, Entrance Age Requirements.)

Determine Your Neighborhood School
Use the school locator to confirm your neighborhood school.  You may also call 970-490-3576 to speak with someone regarding school locations.

Research Your Options
Detailed information on the wide variety of educational choices available to your child can be found in the Educational Choices Brochure.

Attend Informational Meetings
Kindergarten Information Meetings and Classroom Visitations are scheduled in January, before registartion on February 7, 2013.  For visitations now, call the school directly to set up an appointment.

Register
2012-2013 Kindergarten registration has already passed.  If you need to register your child for the 2012-13 school year, please contact your neighborhood school to set up a registration appointment.

Bring the following items with you to your registration appointment:

• Child's Birth Certicate (original or certified copy)
• Emergency Contact Information
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency
