The Poudre School District Board of Education will interview six applicants for the vacant Director position on Tuesday, April 2, at the Johannsen Support Services Center, 2407 LaPorte Ave. The interviews are for the vacant Director position for District D.

The Board will meet at 6 p.m. to prepare for the applicant interviews. They will interview all six applicants beginning at 7 p.m. Community members are invited to attend and will have an opportunity to submit questions for the applicants.

A PSD Board of Education Committees Sub-Committee meeting will be held at 8 a.m., Thursday, March 28, at Genoa Coffee located at Drake and Timberline.

The PSD Board of Education will conduct second interviews of two finalists for the superintendent position during a special meeting, Monday, March 11, at the Johannsen Support Services Center, 2407 LaPorte Ave.

The board will interview Dr. Todd Lambert and Dr. Sandra Smyser. This is a second interview of the candidates who were both interviewed by the board and community committees on Feb. 23.

Dr. Lambert is currently the director of curriculum, instruction and assessment for PSD. Dr. Smyser is currently the superintendent of the Eagle County School District in Vail.

The Board of Education will meet to discuss the Superintendent Search details and participate in training by the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) regarding the February 23 Superintendent finalist interviews.

Members of the two community committees selected by the Board of Education will also meet with CASB for interview training.

The board will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. to discuss next steps with the consultant.

The interview training for the board and committee members will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.
