Overview
Utilities & Resource Management coordinates projects relating to utilities, resources, and environmental safety including cost, usage, safety and efficiency. The department educates students, staff, and the community about the importance of environmental stewardship and the conservation of our natural resources.
Energy Management
Through a direct digital control (DDC) system, Energy Management remotely coordinates the scheduling of air movement and lights throughout the district, allowing for a reduction in district energy use and a savings in energy costs. To find additional ways to conserve, Energy Management tracks usage, conducts site energy audits, and manages energy efficient projects and initiatives at all district sites.
