Eyestone Elementary has joined other Poudre School District schools in recycling efforts through the Hot Composting program. Gallegos Sanitation sustainability coordinators recently visited Eyestone Elementary to promote recycling awareness and teach students and staff about composting lunchroom waste.

Other PSD schools participating in the Hot Composting program include: Kinard Core Knowledge Elementary, Cache La Poudre Middle School, Lesher International Baccalaureate Middle School, Polaris School of Expeditionary Learning/Lab School and Wellington Middle School.
