Students and Staff Successes: Preston Wins 3D Software; CLPMS Student Wins National Poetry Contest; Integrated Services Staff Member Recognized

Preston Middle School Receives 3D Software from Eon Reality
Congratulations to Preston Middle School, which is the only school in the United States and the only middle school globally to be awarded 3D software from Eon Reality. The 3D software will be used in their 3D lab, which was created with the help of a Supporting Partnership and Innovative Education (SPIE) grant.

CLPMS Student Wins National Poetry Contest
Congratulations to Cache La Poudre Middle School student Julia Schmidt whose poem “Poudre River” won the National Federation of State Poetry contest. Schmidt, along with CLPMS students Lachlan Yahn and Casey Robertson were top finishers in the Columbine Poets of Colorado state poetry contest. The poems from all three students were sent to the national contest.

Congratulations to PSD Integrated Services staff member Ann Scott, who recently received the “Making a Difference” award at the Statewide Assistive Technology, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (SWAAAC) conference.
