Poudre School District schools were full of excitement as they welcomed 25,765 students back to school on August 21.

At Werner Elementary, students carrying backpacks, lunchboxes and new school supplies were all smiles as they peeked into classroom windows and waited for doors to open. Parents visited with each other and took the traditional first-day-of-school photos of their children before hugging them goodbye.
