The Poudre School District Board of Education selected the Colorado Association of School Boards to assist in the search for a long-term superintendent.

The board approved the selection at a special board meeting Oct. 2 at the Johannsen Support Services Center. The board also interviewed two other firms including Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates and PROACT Search Inc.

The district hopes to select a new superintendent in spring 2013.
