Volunteers
The goals of the PSD Volunteer program are to support, sustain and expand the community’s involvement in education. Volunteers assist students and teachers in a wide variety of activities, including: tutoring, mentoring, helping with playground supervision, assisting in computer labs, media centers, school health offices and more. More than 65 hardworking building volunteer coordinators handle recruitment, placement and recognition for nearly 4,000 volunteers under the direction of the Partnership and Volunteer Program.
