Overall Academic Performance on State Assessments Excellent   Academic Growth of Students Improvement Winner of a John Irwin School of Excellence Award for the 2006 - 2007 School year

 Werner is ranked "Excellent" in Academic Performance for the sixth straight year.  This year Werner also ranked in the "Improvement" category in Academic Growth of Students.

The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) announced on December 5 that 42 PSD schools (84%) ranked High or Excellent in Academic Performance on the 7th annual Colorado School Accountability Reports (SARs), as announced December 5 by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).

In addition, 24 schools (48%) were ranked in the Improvement or Significant Improvement categories in Academic Growth of Students category.
