Third Graders Receive Dictionaries

Thank you, Rotary READ!

      The Rotary READ Committee is giving lovely hardcover Houghton Mifflin Children’s Dictionaries to every third grade student in Poudre School District.  The intent is that the children use the dictionaries at school through the rest of the year, and then the students may take their dictionaries home at the end of the school year so they will have a personal, age-appropriate dictionary to use at home.

      On Monday, November 2, 2009, an excited group of Werner third graders received their dictionaries.  Thank you, Rotarians, for giving the students such a wonderful reference source.  Thank you, too, for continuing to find ways to foster a love of reading and learning in elementary students
