You’ll note that Beattie students continue to perform well, again earning a “High” ranking for overall academic performance with an “Improvement” rating. While we are proud of the SARs ratings, there are many other aspects of our school that make it a special place. We often receive compliments on the positive climate here, and we make a concerted effort to have children feel safe, physically and emotionally. We also work very hard to educate “the whole child” in our efforts with art, music, PE, media, and counseling classes. We certainly never rest on our laurels as we continue to offer Beattie students the best learning situation we can.
We hope parents feel good about their child’s school, as well. We certainly appreciate it when families share good news about Beattie with friends and neighbors. We’ll have our Kindergarten Orientation on January 24. This presents an opportunity for us to add to our enrollment, as some parents “shop” for the best school for their child. If you know of a family with a child entering kindergarten in the fall, please consider sharing this information with them.
