Veterans Teach Lesson in Patriotism at Cache La Poudre Elementary

Students at Cache La Poudre Elementary School will learn about patriotism and service from military veterans this week in observance of Veterans Day.

Lesson Teaches Respect for Flag When Posting, Lowering and Folding

Veterans from the American Legion will demonstrate how to present, post, lower and fold flags at a Veterans Day Program, at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at, 3511 W. Cty Rd 54G. The demonstration will include the playing of Taps.

Veterans Invited to Attend In Recognition of Service to Country

Veterans in the community are invited to attend the program.  Students will sing patriotic songs and present flag pins to all veterans in recognition of their service to country.
