Voluntary Insurance
PSD does not purchase student accident insurance to cover injuries due to accidents at school or during school-sponsored activities, such as athletic events and field trips. A voluntary accident insurance program is available through Nationwide and serviced by K & K Insurance Group. Families and students who do not have insurance may want to consider this resource. For those who do have coverage, this plan can help fill expensive gaps caused by deductibles and co-pays.

Coverage may be purchased anytime by completing the online application. Select "Enroll Now" then "K12 Voluntary" from the drop down menu to begin the application process.
International Travel Insurance
Per District Policy IJOA, all students participating in field trips/activities involving travel outside of the United States must purchase the insurance offered by the educational tour company or travel agency through which the field trip/activity is being arranged, or other insurance approved by the district.
