Integrity

Integrity is the foundation of the work of the Early Childhood Program and will propel our team toward excellence through dedication, authenticity, and passion.

Respect

We respect each of our team members and value their expertise. As a respected program in the community, our team members are committed to transparency in our work, value trust as a component of respect, and, above all, respect the rights and beliefs of those with whom we work and serve.

Honesty

We value honesty and open communication among peers, with leadership, throughout the Early Childhood program, across the district, and with families receiving our services.

Responsibility

We accept responsibility for the quality of work we perform, and we value the competency and accountability for our actions, both as individuals and as members of a team. We recognize our responsibility to the district, and our responsibility as a resource in the greater community. In addition, we value empowering families to take responsibility for their own independence and accomplishments.

Teamwork and Collaboration

We assert that teamwork is paramount to the success of the Early Childhood Program, and maintain that collaboration is the most effective means by which to meet the comprehensive needs of every child.

Compassion

Our work requires genuine compassion for our peers and for the diverse population for which we serve.

Flexibility

With creative thinking and open-minded solutions, we maintain a flexible environment that adapts to the diverse and ever changing needs of children. We value team members who demonstrate the ability to be flexible and to accommodate change.

Passion and Enjoyment

Passion, satisfaction, and enjoyment can be directly linked with efficiency and performance. We appreciate that these elements should encompass many aspects of our work with children, families, and team members. Though our daily tasks are often difficult, we are mindful that hope, and the promise of the future, transcends the challenges and motivates our work.
