Application Process:

• Parents are responsible for providing student transportation until they are notified by the PSD transportation department that there is a seat available for them on a bus.

• All Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and are based on space availability on existing bus routes.

• Parents must reapply for transportation every year.

• Only current year, 2011-12, applications will be accepted.

• A separate form must be filled out for each student.

• The application review process for Space Available and Alternative Transportation begins October 3, families will be notified as soon as a determination is made.

• Parents are encouraged to apply as soon as applications are available.

Parents should be aware that transportation cannot assign students over the PSD Transportation capacity limits. Limits are based on age group of the students and size of the bus.

Alternative Transportation Application

Use this application to request alternative transportation such as split families, daycare, or to request transportation to/from a location other than home.

Medical Transportation Application

Use this application to request transportation for a student who has a verified medical condition. This request requires a letter from the student’s doctor specifying the reason for the request and the length of time the request will need to be in effect.

Application for Front Range/Fossil Ridge Vocational Transportation

Use this application to apply for transportation from a student’s home high school to and from the Front Range Community College Vocational Education classes held at Front Range Community College and at Fossil Ridge High School.
