History
Fort Collins High School (FCHS) is 118 years proud. With over 30,000 graduates, FCHS benefits from strong community support and rich traditions.

Since 1995, Fort Collins High School has been at its current site at Timberline and Horsetooth Roads. Expansive and attractive, this outstanding facility allows modern technology, flexible space, and natural lighting to meet the needs of today’s students, tomorrow’s leaders.

We are proud to be the only Lambkins in the country!

Academic environment
FCHS is truly a comprehensive grade 10–12 school. Classes are offered to support students with special needs, including adaptive technologies, and students with special interests such as school-to-career opportunities. We also offer a wide and expanding variety of advanced level classes.

Each year many Fort Collins graduates enter the most prestigious universities and compete for national awards. We recognize our responsibility to ensure all students are able to leave high school with skills that allow them to succeed in workplaces, community colleges, state universities, trade schools, and the military.

Honors and Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are, for American colleges and universities, the most widely recognized high school programs of high achievement. AP classes are excellent opportunities for any student who seeks the special rewards from a rigorous, specialized academic curriculum.

Opportunities for parents
PTO Forum, School Improvement Team, Parent Athletic Club, District Advisory Board, Lambkin Gridiron Boosters, volunteers, and After Prom Committee are some of the opportunities in which parents can be involved.

Extracurricular activities
For 8 of the 10 years the award has been given out, FCHS has received the prestigious Wells Fargo Cup given to the Colorado school with the most outstanding activities program.
