Blevins is committed to building strong relationships with parents and encouraging parent involvement in the education of their children. As part of this effort, Blevins subscribes to the following publications of the Parent Institute that help parents and teachers build respect, responsibility, and good character traits in students so that  teachers can spend less time disciplining and more time teaching.
