Program Information

Helping Families Succeed...

Research shows that in order for kids to succeed, in school and later on in life, they must be healthy, have a positive self-image, and be able to get along with others.  Children need supportive and caring families.
In the Early Childhood Education Program, the staff supports child development by strengthening the parent-child relationship.
The Early Childhood Education Program also provides services that enhance development of children through educational, health, nutritional, and other services.
  
Which Families are Eligible?
The Early Childhood Education Program offers services to children and families that meet certain eligibility requirements.
Requirements include:
  - Child's age (birth through five years)
   - Prenatal mothers
- Child's developmental needs
- Family needs and income
- School attendance area
  
Home Visits with Caring Staff
Staff members visit families who have child(ren) from birth to age 5, developing relationships that help kids and family members in a variety of ways:
Child development activities focus on gross motor, fine motor, and social/emotional, cognitive, and language development.
Early literacy includes sharing a book during each home visit.

Quality Child Care
  
Quality Preschool Program
Early Childhood Preschool programs are designed to meet the needs of children ages 3 to 5.
Children benefit in so many ways, including:
Highly qualified, educated staff specifically trained to work with preshool-age children in school-readiness skills.

- Gross- and fine-motor development
