  • World War 2 Ended in May1945 
  • Germany in ruins and no functioning government
  • Postdam Conferencer allies agree to " temporaily" divide Germany into 4 zones of occupation. Including the capital of Germany Berlin.
  • Soviet Union got the biggest piece while with the U.S, France and Great britain.
  • Numremberg Trails was allies plan to ride germany of any remnants of  Nazi Party and beliefs many arrested and several dozen with death sentences.
    Germany has to pay reparations.
