Garden and Nature Club
In the spring of 2008, McGraw's Garden and Nature Club was launched. The purpose of this group is to actively involve students, parents and community members/organizations in enhancing our school and engaging students in learning about and through nature.
The Garden and Nature Club's initial work this fall included the extension of our front garden beds and beginning planning for a school nature center. By the end of the 2008-2009 school year, we hope to have a formal plan for the McGraw nature center completed and ready to submit to the district and city and county agencies for review. We also hope to begin contacting potential funding sources for the establishment of the nature center.
