Moore Elementary is located at 1905 Orchard Place in Fort Collins, Colorado. The school is west of Colorado State University. The population at Moore is a highly diverse one, both ethnically and culturally. Moore teaches from the Core Knowledge Curriculum.

School closing due to weather: Closures are generally announced by 6:30 am on radio stations KCOL (107.9 FM or 1410 AM) or KIIX 600 AM, or on V channels 4, 7, 9 and local cable channel 10. The district determines the decision to close school. School will usually not be closed once student shave arrived. In case of adverse weather conditions, the parents have the right to decide to keep their child(ren) home. In teh rare event that school must be closed after students have arrived, the media becomes our primary communication link with parents. In some cases your emergency contact person may become responsible for your child. Our goal is to have every child in a safe place as soon as possible.
