The O'Dea Core Knowledge Media Center offers a multitude of services for students, staff and the O'Dea Community. Our Media Center houses over 17,500 items in our collection with many new books and audio visual items coming in on a regular basis. The media center is also home to eight Windows computers, as well as scanners and printers for student and staff use.

The Media Center is also connected to The O'Dea Core Knowledge Computer Lab where we have 31 Windows computers. Students and staff have access to the computers on a weekly basis through scheduled instruction as well as open times when classrooms can come in to work on projects.

The Media Center program offers research project, library/media skills, literature and computer instruction as well as individual assistance in information gathering and information technology.

Our volunteers are an essential part of our program and are a huge asset to providing students with a well organized and staffed media center.

Mrs. Thompson is our media specialist and Mrs. Bush is our media assistant.

Thank you to the Library People: Friends of Colorado Libraries and the Students and Staff in the Building Trade Classes at Centennial High School for our lovely new bench under our tree in the Media Center.
