Peak Projects
We began the Peak Projects two years ago as a way to get our students involved in entrepreneurial projects and to allow them to gain work experience that they may not have normally had gotten. The Fort Collins job market can be very tight at times because high school students are competing with one another and with college students for entry-level positions all over the city. Therefore we took it upon ourselves to find work for our students so that they could gain not only job experience but also life experiences in a setting outside of the classroom.
The first project that we undertook was a leaf raking project that raised several hundred dollars for our annual Thanksgiving meal. We then moved on to do a a landscaping project in the spring that had us doing everything from hauling rock to mulching flower gardens.
If interested in any of our services please click on the service you want under 'Peak Projects' for pricing and a list of services we can provide. Through these entrepreneurial experiences our students learn valuable life skills, job skills and a great deal about the value of hard work. We appreciate your continued support.
