Message from the Principal

Shepardson Elementary is committed to serving the needs of each child. We believe each child possesses many gifts and talents. Many of our students are high achievers, while some students have special challenges. We highly value our diversity and strive to create an effective learning atmosphere that reached our differently-abled learners throughout the instructional day.

To meet these varied needs, we use a variety of approaches within the regular classroom to help students expand their skills at all levels. Instead of having a "Special Program" for different groups of children, we provide programming options within the academic areas to continuously address these diverse needs. Our challenge it so provide meaningful opportunities for each child to expand his/her educational growth and enthusiasm for learning in all areas.
