Objectives and Membership

1. Promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school, and community.
2. Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
3. Bring the home and school into closer relationship so that parents and teachers may cooperate constructively in the training of the child.
4. Develope such unified efforts between parents and educators that will secure the highest standards in mental, physical, and social education for every child.
5. Said organization is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Membership

1. Membership in this organization shall be automatic to parents, guardians, and educators of the Shepardson Elementary School.
2. All members shall be entitled to vote and hold office.
