I enjoy what I do at Shepardson because... I LOVE children! I love seeing them learn, I love learning from them , and I love helping them learn. There's no better place in the world to be than in a school with children growing and learning and loving life! And as my own kids get big, I can still get little kid hugs on a daily basis.
My favorite book is... oh, so many to choose from! My all time favorite is "The Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. But this summer I got hooked on re-reading Jane Austen books and had a lot of fun reading "Pride and Prejudice" and "Sense and Sensibility". I'll probably have a different favorite book next year!
My hobbies and interests include... spending time with my family, reading, volunteering, learning new computer tricks, listening to classical music.
I love Shepardson because... the staff at Shepardson is terrific to work with. They are such talented people who care immensely about what they do and go the extra mile on a daily basis. It is uplifiting to have so many wonderful examples to rub shoulders with every day. Then there are the children and the parents -- the support and friendship I receive from them makes every day worthwhile! |
