I enjoy what I do at Shepardson because...
...of the caring, dedicated staff who holds high expectations for every child and themselves.
...of the active, supportive parents who care about every child as well as the school community
...of the hard-working, caring nature of each child to perform his/her best. In their eyes, I see their desire to be the best they can be!
My favorite book is... too many from which to choose just one. Probably the one having the most influence on me right now is "The Art of Possibility" by R. Zander and B. Zander.
My hobbies and interests include... skiing, walking, horticulture, reading, traveling, and mostly spending time with family---husband, mother, children and grandchildren. My passion for children, all children, serves to drive me to do what I can to help make this world a better place for every child.
I love Shepardson because... of the values we hold to accept all children and celebrate the strengths and the diversity they bring while keeping our expectations high for each child. It is truly a microcosm of a global society that is striving to prepare our students for their "unknown" future while engaging the school community in continuous growth and improvement. We all truly love learning and each other! |
