6th Grade Star Honored

May 9, 2007, was a very special evening for sixth grader, Kathleen M. Kate was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award at the Masonic Lodge 43rd Annual Celebration of Excellence in Public Education. Each year the lodge recognizes students from 6th, 9th and 12th grades for their traits of citizenship, leadership, scholarship, and positive attitude. Although many 6th graders at Shepardson possess all of these traits, the 6th grade team came to a unanimous agreement to nominate Kate for this prestigious award. Kate represented all of our outstanding students at Shepardson very well! Congratulations Kate!
