Hello!  Welcome to Wellington Middle School.  My name is Dr. Alicia Durand and I am the principal of WMS.  I started at Wellington Junior High School as a social studies and Spanish teacher in 1986 and I also coached volleyball here for 15 years.  In addition to teaching, I have been the Student Advisor (a school counselor with slightly different duties), an interim Assistant Princiipal and the Assistant Principal before becoming the principal in 2001.  WMS is a great school, filled with caring, hard working, highly qualified teachers and staff.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (970) 488-6600.
