We would like to invite you to our Werner Speaker Series by PTA! Come to the PTA meeting and find out what PTA is all about and afterwards we will have a fun and inspiring speaker.

Renee Cohn Jones will cover the topic: “My Kids are Laughing at Me … And I Love It!”  (((Positive Parenting for Parents)))

Parents will learn how to live ‘happily ever laughter’ by learning to plan ahead to prevent potential problems, to
define rules and to encourage desirable behavior. Parents will also learn how to help their child express his or
her emotions in constructive ways.  Parents will leave this workshop better prepared to positively influence the
behaviors of their children.  

Renée Cohn Jones received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), and a Certified Laughter Leader (CLL) is a seasoned entertainer who has clowned as Jalapeña for thousands of children and adults.  Shortly
after 9/11/01, Renée traveled with Patch Adams, MD to Russia, clowning in orphanages, hospitals and nursing
homes. She presents on a wide range of topics and considers humor her most powerful communication tool.
Drawing on her experiences as a psychologist, educator, daughter, mother, professional clown and a Werner
parent, Renee goes that extra 'smile' in creating family environments that are filled with fun.
