Information Technology

Our Mission: We ensure the reliability, security, and equity of the technology that powers education and district operations, serving as trusted stewards of PSD’s tools and digital environments.

What We Do

PSD Information Technology Department provides year-round technical support, maintenance, and training for district and school employees. We strive to provide and maintain an expansive, fast, and reliable network to enable administrators, teachers, and students to effectively leverage technology throughout the District and in the classroom.

Through yearly and long-term initiatives to update, enhance, and adopt new technologies Poudre School District offers cutting-edge technologies and services ensuring the continued success of our mission to Educate Every Child, Every Day.

Frontline support for district staff through the Support Center and on-site technicians, keeping devices and systems running with minimal disruption.


📡 Infrastructure and Networking
Design, maintenance, and monitoring of district-wide network infrastructure, including wired, WiFi, voice, and data communications.


🖥️ Systems and Database Administration
Operation and maintenance of enterprise systems including device management, servers, email, security patching, and district-wide software deployment.


🔧 Field Service Technicians
On-site technical support for computers, audio-visual equipment, classroom technology, and the district's one-to-one laptop program.


📊 Applications Support
Support and training for district applications including the student information system, gradebook, learning management, and special education platforms.


📈 Data Analysis
Reporting, data submissions to state and federal agencies, student enrollment projections, and Power BI dashboards that support district decision-making.


💡 Software Development
Custom application development, account provisioning, third-party integrations, and internal tools that extend and connect district systems.

Each school supports technical assistance for students and families. Guides and self-service resources are available at the Technology Help portal. Staff can submit requests and track tickets through the Employee Service Center.
