The Learning, Media, and Digital Ecosystem Committee

The Poudre School District remains dedicated to providing the best learning experience for our students. This commitment will continue and strengthen with the establishment of a new committee aimed at discussing the technology ecosystem in PSD both in and beyond the classroom. 

The Learning, Media, and Digital Ecosystem Committee is a newly established group focused on ensuring districtwide coherence in instructional tools and technologies for teaching and learning at all PSD schools. 

The primary function of this group is to provide recommendations to PSD’s Curriculum and Instruction and Information Technology Departments regarding the student digital learning ecosystem, the collection of hardware and software tools and services that support and impact teaching and learning in PSD.

The group will focus on the following topics:

Media and information literacy

Digital ecosystem management

Safety and security

Equity and accessibility

Innovation

The ultimate goal is to strengthen districtwide coherence in technology and ensure that students are best prepared for the digital world that they are growing up in. 

This group – made up of PSD educators, administrators, and technical staff – will meet monthly starting in September. More information on what the group is discussing and working on can be found on this website as the year goes on.
