Staff Support

Poudre School District offers a variety of programs for employees to not only help them grow professionally, but to enhance their education and mental wellbeing. Programs include tuition reimbursement, mentoring for new teachers, and employee assistance services for employee mental and physical health.

Employee Programs

• Employee Assistance Services: PSD offers employees counseling services to help cope with the demands and stresses of life. Employee Assistance Services (EAS) staff offer problem-solving strategies and counseling services to help employees with personal issues in a positive healthy manner. EAS provides assessment, treatment planning and referrals to in-network providers. Counseling services are confidential. 

• Mentoring: The PSD Mentoring program offers new teachers support, preparing them to be confident and highly effective educators. 

• National Board for Professional Teaching Standards:  PSD educators who begin the national board certification process are reimbursed a percentage by PSD for each component they complete. Current PSD teachers who are NBPTS-certified receive an annual stipend for as long as they are employed by PSD with active certification and additional criteria met. Find more information on the NBPSTS page.

• Wellness:  The Employee Wellness program includes an Employee Health Clinic and Integrative Health Management System, Ramp Health Employee Wellness Portal, and Employee Wellness Advisory Council. More information available on the Wellness Overview page.
