2010 Building Fund Overview - 2017 Construction Update!

In November 2010, the PSD community passed a $120 million bond issue. Over its eight-year time frame, the bond will provide funding for infrastructure repair projects, which will extend the useful life of facilities and provide an optimal level of efficiency and effectiveness for students and staff.

To date, more than 130 line items totaling approximately $81 million have been completed. Planning is currently underway for upcoming 2015 projects, which will be completed at 23 schools and will total over $14 million. This work will include improvements in building and classroom security, ventilation and heating, ADA compliance, plumbing, electrical, doors and windows, playgrounds, kitchens, flooring, lighting, and roofing.
