Poudre School District's Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is currently accepting applications for new members who are interested in supporting students with disabilities.
Those interested should submit an application by Friday, Oct. 15.
The SEAC focuses on students with disabilities and decisions made on their behalf, keeping at the forefront quality educational services. They advise the Integrated Services (special education) leadership team on topics and may also work with the Integrated Services Department on special education and parent-focused projects.
Representatives are asked to serve on the committee for two years and attend all SEAC meetings.
- 2021-22 school year meeting dates are: Nov. 18, Jan. 20, March 14, and May 19.
- Meetings are held 5:30-7:30 p.m. in person at the Johannsen Support Services Complex, 2407 LaPorte Ave., Fort Collins. Members will have the option of joining meetings virtually through Microsoft Teams.
SEAC’s vision is to facilitate partnerships between parents, general education, special education, and the community. For more information about SEAC, contact Heidi Graber, Integrated Services parent liaison, at email@example.com.
