Attend a community engagement meeting about transparency in PSD

Poudre School District is hosting two community engagement meetings this summer as part of its commitment to creating spaces where people may listen to one another and engage in respectful dialogue.

The sessions are open to all students, employees, parents/guardians, and members of the community and will take place:

  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13, at the media center at Boltz Middle School, 720 Boltz Drive in Fort Collins
  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, at the media center at Fort Collins High School, 3400 Lambkin Way

Attendees will be asked to reflect upon what transparency looks like and share ideas about how PSD could improve in this space.

Superintendent Report: May 24, 2022: At the May 24, 2022, PSD Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Brian Kingsley expressed a call to action for individuals in our communities to listen to and work together on solutions that will continue improving PSD for our students. "We have a chance to be different," he said. PSD wants to be different, and "I love that," he said.

Our school district shares the values expressed by our parents/guardians, including safety, transparency and partnership. We must continue working together to improve student experiences and outcomes, and we believe that feedback from our community makes us better.

Requests for reasonable accommodations, made under the ADA, will be considered. Anyone seeking accommodations at these meetings must notify the Director of Student Services Liz Davis at edavis@psdschools.org no later than 5 p.m. on the business day prior to the meeting.

We hope you have enjoyed a restful start to the summer break. Thank you for your continued partnership.
