PSD celebrates Community Connections graduates!

Community Connections graduates pose together.

Poudre School District was thrilled to celebrate seven Community Connections students during the program’s Sendoff Ceremony in May.

Congratulations to Ashli Hunter, Brady Hood, Anna Reed, Kale Crawford, Matthew Douglas, Cory Breslin and Zachary Moss!

Community Connections is a PSD program that helps students with significant learning needs transition from high school to adult living and post-secondary education after they have met their high school’s graduation requirements.

In their time at Community Connections, these graduates have been hard at work learning important life skills, exploring careers and becoming involved with the larger community. Community members might have seen them around town as they developed career skills with internships at places including the Colorado State University Forest Service, Krazy Karl's Pizza, Arc Thrift Stores, Animal House Rescue & Grooming and the Food Bank for Larimer County, to name a few.

Their completion of the Community Connections program is an exciting milestone worth celebrating!
