It is the time of year when students gear up, grab their backpacks, and head into a new school year in Poudre School District. To help families prepare for a smooth start, the district has compiled essential information and helpful links on important topics.
First Day of School
The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 19. All sixth- and ninth-grade students will have a Transition Day at their middle or high schools on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

*Choice-only schools are not charter schools – they are PSD public schools that do not have a neighborhood boundary, so they require a School of Choice application to attend.
