Schedule
Wed. from 8:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M or from 1:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M
Tuesdays From 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Duties:
1. Shelving books
2. Repairing books
3. Classifying books according to -AR Level
4. Checking in out books to students (for the volunteers that come on Tuesdays)

Boltz Tech & Design NEEDS Volunteers
The Boltz Tech and Design classrooms are collaborative and community workspaces for student-led making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses low tech to high tech tools (3D printing, woodworking, programming, laser cutting/engraving, etc.).
As a Tech and Design Volunteer you can help in so many ways (i.e., donate your time, skills, and/or household materials to the capacity you have):
- Be the first to test new activities and work out the kinks (e.g., provide guidance and expertise)
- Become the “resident expert” of classroom activities and teach others (e.g., assistant students with soldering, woodshop, prototyping, coding, etc.)
- Organize the tools and maintain equipment (e.g., Lego robotics parts, design and build organizing system for tools in woodshop, etc.)
- Keep up with consumable and supply closet needs (e.g., seek donations for recyclables, craft supplies, and fasteners and adhesives)
- Advertise and recruit to find folks that can teach a skill to the community (e.g., knitting socks, painting nails, gardening, circuitry, woodworking, etc.)
- Seek broken toys and wooden furniture for students to repurpose, take apart, repair, etc.! Any and all would be incredible!

Proctors for the AP Exams in May. We would welcome your support if you are available to proctor one (or more) of our 3-hour exams. The exams are held May 6th through 17th.

SART Peers is looking for volunteer mentors!
SART Peers is a peer-led education program in which interested high school students are trained in sexual violence prevention, consent, and being an upstander. These trained students give sexual violence prevention presentations to their fellow high school students and feeder middle school students. Trained volunteer mentors are present at each presentation to help the SART Peers set up, answer tough questions, and advance their presentation skills. They also provide support for any student who may feel upset, want additional support, or would like to process something with a trusted adult. Interested volunteers will have to complete an application and interview process as well as a three-hour training.
