The Poudre School District Custodial Department offers quality customer service and support to students, teachers, administrators, building staff, parents, and the community.

Did you know

• Custodial staff clean approximately 4 million square feet of district facilities daily.

• Custodians set up and assist with a wide variety of school activities and building rentals.

• We coordinate waste removal schedules and assist with PSD’s recycling program.

• We perform in-house maintenance on a variety of equipment used to maintain PSD school facilities in the best condition, as efficiently as possible.

We know floors

• The department maintains, repairs and replaces all district flooring, including:
  -   Cleaning of all carpets
  -   Refinishing hard surface resilient floors and gym floors
  -   Repair and replacement of carpet, wood, tile and vinyl floors 
  -   Coordinating schedules with other trades and new construction projects

Our commitment to sustainability

• Custodial Services is a forerunner in the use of sustainable products such as Green Seal approved cleaners, strippers and finishes.

• The department strives to use equipment that meets LEED guidelines.

• As PSD strives to be a leader in sustainable practices, the custodial department will continue to research and develop innovative green practices.
