School to Work Alliance Program (SWAP) is a Poudre School District transition program.  It is in place to help youth with mild to moderate special needs find and keep a job.  Poudre School District partners with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to offer this free program. PSD SWAP earned a Certificate of Excellence from the State SWAP Team for exceeding 100% of their employment placement goals in the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years. More infomation here...

SWAP serves youth who...
  • have or will be exiting high school
  • are 16-25 years old
  • want to work
  • have the capability to work independently
If you qualify, SWAP will help with:
  • Career exploration and development
  • Employment related instruction, resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, applications
  • Job development, shadows, and placement
  • 1-year follow-up
