IKF - GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To graduate and receive a diploma from a Poudre School District high school, a student must earn at least the hours of credit in grades 9 through 12 specified in this policy.

GENERAL INFORMATION

In grade 9, each student shall be required to enroll in at least 35 credits of course work per semester. In grades 10 through 12, each student shall be required to enroll in 50 credits of course work per year. "Credit" is defined as a period of instructional activity taken each week for a full semester.

In cases where a course meets a requirement for more than one core, the student shall declare which core requirement the course will satisfy.

Each student shall be responsible for monitoring progress toward high school graduation. School counselors shall assist students with the process.

High school transcripts shall include credits earned in grades 9 through 12.
