Physical Education
Welcome to Physical Education at Olander!
Physical Education is an integral part of the Olander experience. Students of all abilities are challenged to pursue individualized and attainable goals in an environment of trust and support.
Olander students follow an enriching progression of Physical Education development. The youngest children focus on movement concepts in preparation for second and third grade skill development. Our fourth through sixth graders apply their skills in a wide variety of sport themes. Throughout, students are instructed in the value of hard work, the need for cooperation and the benefits of developing a healthy, active lifestyle. Olander Field Day programs are an interdisciplinary celebration of Physcial Education progress involving the entire Olander community. The facilities and equipment at Olander provide the opportunity to pursue a wide variety of safe and healthy activities.
