SART Peers is looking for volunteer mentors!

SART Peers is a peer-led education program in which interested high school students are trained in sexual violence prevention, consent, and being an upstander. These trained students give sexual violence prevention presentations to their fellow high school students and feeder middle school students. Trained volunteer mentors are at each presentation to help the SART Peers set up, answer tough questions, and advance their presentation skills. They also provide support for any student who may feel upset or would like to process something with a trusted adult. Interested volunteers will have to complete an application and an interview process as well as a three-hour training. To apply, email the SART Program Coordinator, Miranda Bateman, at  mbateman@psdschools.org.
