While classrooms are empty this summer, construction crews will be hard at work across Poudre School District as various summer construction projects get underway. These projects range in scope, from small adjustments in one area of a school to much larger ones affecting an entire building.

Mrs. Rutherford’s mother, growing up, was a teacher, so Mrs. Rutherford did think about choosing a career in teaching off and on.
Before college, Mrs. Rutherford fell in love with Spanish and made up her mind to teach it.
Due to forecasted heavy wet snowfall and hazardous road conditions, all Poudre School District schools will be closed Wednesday, May 6. This will not be a remote learning day.
All after-school activities and athletics and AlphaBEST before and after-school care for May 6 will be canceled.
High school students who attend classes at Front Range Community College should check with the college to determine if classes are in session.
Tobey Bassoff has been selected as Poudre School District’s Assistant Superintendent for Area C, which serves the Rocky Mountain and Wellington Middle High School feeders and supports the Early Childhood and Professional Learning and Educator Effectiveness departments, effective July 1, 2026. Bassoff brings more than 25 years of experience in public education and a deep commitment to strengthening instruction and developing school leaders.
