Give your input on new graduation requirements
PSD is reviewing its graduation policies because of new state guidelines and would like your input. Please plan to attend a community forum to learn about new state requirements and to share your thoughts on priorities for PSD’s revised graduation guidelines. Community input will be considered as the district drafts a new high school graduation policy recommendation, which will be shared with the Board of Education later this spring. Remaining community forums include:
- February 2, 6:00-7:00pm, Fossil Ridge High School Roundhouse
- February 4, 6:00-7:00pm, Poudre High School Media Center (Room 302)
- February 11, 6:00-7:00pm, JSSC Board Room (2407 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins)
Community forums were held at Fort Collins and Rocky Mountain High School in January.
Please note: New graduation requirements will not impact current high school students. The policy will go into effect with the graduating class of 2021 (9th graders in 2017-2018). For more information on the Colorado State Board’s high school graduation guidelines, please visit the Colorado Department of Education’s website.
