Welcoming New Leaders Supporting PSD Staff and Educators

Poudre School District is excited to introduce two dedicated leaders stepping into roles that support educator development and staff well-being.

Kim Tymkowych Named Director of Professional Learning & Educator Effectiveness

Kim TymkowychKim Tymkowych joins PSD as the new Director of Professional Learning & Educator Effectiveness, bringing more than 22 years of experience in education. Her career spans roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and, for the past 12 years, a principal. At every level, Kim has demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous growth—for herself, her colleagues, and the students she serves.

Driven by a passion for professional learning, Kim seeks out opportunities to expand her own knowledge and is equally enthusiastic about supporting others in their development. She values collaboration and believes that meaningful growth happens when educators learn with and from each other.

“I’m excited to build strong relationships, learn from new colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing success of students and staff across PSD,” Kim shared.
