Rosie Navejas brings more than 26 years of experience in education, including teaching in Early Childhood and Elementary grades, bilingual education, and work with adult learners. Her leadership in K-12 Professional Learning and Curriculum and Instruction has focused on Literacy, Education Technology, and Curriculum Adoption and Implementation. Her expertise is shaped by a mission to uplift the entire educational community. Rosie has a strong track record of bridging vision and practice, transforming strategic plan initiatives into meaningful learning experiences that strengthen teaching and learning across Poudre School District.
Rosie’s key strength is in building collaborative partnerships that connect academic and student-centered priorities across the district. She brings together teams from literacy, student services, and school leadership to ensure that initiatives supporting Literacy, Mental Health and Belonging, and Graduating with Options are aligned and mutually reinforcing. Rosie helps design learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and prepared with multiple pathways for future success.
As a PSD Student Experience Featured Educator, Rosie remains committed to developing and sustaining strong systems that support conditions where every student has access to rigorous educational opportunities. She dedicates her work to the advancement of the PSD mission to educate every child every day. Rosie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University, a Master’s degree in Education from Regis University, and a Principal’s Licensure from Colorado State University. Rosie continues to research best practices for all students with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education.
