Recognizing mental health, this month and always
We are in the final stretch of the school year, and that means (hopefully) sunnier weather for field days, concerts and competitions, final exams and graduation ceremonies. May is also Mental Health Awareness Month.
Thank you, PSD volunteers!
Poudre School District joins other districts across the country in celebrating volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 17-21. This week-long event recognizes the huge contributions volunteers make by sharing their time and talent with our students and staff. A resolution in support of volunteer week will be presented to the PSD Board of Education at their meeting on Tuesday, April 18.

Student and family support following Denver school shooting
Dear PSD Families:
I’m sure many of you have heard by now about Wednesday morning’s shooting of two administrators at East High School in Denver. We wish both staff members a full recovery from their injuries, both mental and physical, and stand in solidarity with East and the Denver Public Schools community as they process this tragedy.
Celebrating academic successes: A look at PSD’s annual ‘report card’
Dear Poudre School District community,
Our team recently completed the district’s annual monitoring report. Think of it like PSD’s report card – more than 100 pages that show how we’re doing around our priorities of literacy, graduation with options, and mental health and belonging.
Spring break – Mental health and belonging resources
These final months of the school year are a busy time, filled with performances, competitions, parent-teacher conferences, and more. We hope everyone has opportunities to rest and recharge during spring break (March 13-17).
